In general, women network less than men, tend not to take care of relationships strategically, and above all, do not promote themselves enough.
To address all the above and do it right, on November 24th, 2021, a group of founding members connected via video call to officially kick off the “Italian Professional Women in Cambodia (IPWC). ” IPWC is the first business networking group for Italian professional women living, working, or doing business in Cambodia.
Says Luisa Gentile, Founder of IPWC, Italian-Cambodian Business Association Strategic Advisor, Director of Professionals Doing Good. “The group’s purpose is to create a place (also virtual) where to meet like-minded professionals, managers, and entrepreneurs. We come from different sectors and jobs, have different ages and careers path. However, we share a common cultural heritage, Italian roots, and common challenges because of our being women“.
Adds Francesca Andreini, Honorary President of IPWC, writer, cultural event planner, guest lecturer at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, spouse of the Ambassador of Italy in Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand “This network is an excellent opportunity to share life experiences, create meaningful social and professional relationships, and exchange ideas. I am looking forward to more Italian professional women in Cambodia joining us.”
